Conan Shows His Skills at 1980s Cartoon Violence in Battle for the Serpent Crown #2 [Preview]
C.B. Cebulski's attempt to publish thirty-million Conan comics in the span of two years in order to inherit the three-hundred-million left to him by his recently deceased Uncle Rupert continues with Conan: Battle for the Serpent Crown #2, in stores this week from Marvel Comics by Saladin Ahmed and Luke Ross. We've got a preview below.
In Battle for the Serpent Crown, Conan goes to Vegas, because why the hell not, and gets involved in a casino heist.
Unfortunately, he and his partner Nyla find themselves up against The Black Cat, who also wants to steal the same stuff. And she got there first.
And she also gets away first.
Leaving Conan to do what he does best… take a bullet in the arm without getting wounded and then use his sword 80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon style to incapacitate his opponents without drawing any blood.
Finally, a less violent Conan, as Robert E. Howard intended. Thanks, Disney!
Conan: Battle for the Serpent Crown #2 hits stores on Wednesday.
