SNL at Home: Pete Davidson, Cecily Strong and Bowen Yang Check In
NBC's Saturday Night Live returns tonight at 11:30 pm ET/PT for the second edition of "SNL at Home," once again produced remotely from the cast's homes (or respective "home locations" since we don't want to presume) with familiar elements from the show like "Weekend Update" as well as original content from the cast. The first go-around had Tom Hanks and Coldplay's Chris Martin aboard as host and musical guest, respectively, but still no word yet on who will be taking on those roles this weekend.
With only a few hours to spare, members of the cast are already checking in to see if we're okay and remind us about tonight. First up, Pete Davidson struggles through some tech and messaging issues before sticking the landing. Following that, we check out Bowen Yang and Cecily Strong as they deal with the awkwardness of nearly showing up tonight wearing the same sketch. Finally, we wrap things up with another look at this week's initial post announcing tonight's "SNL at Home."

Saturday Night Live's 2019-2020 team includes Beck Bennett, Aidy Bryant, Michael Che, Pete Davidson, Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Colin Jost, Kate McKinnon, Alex Moffat, Kyle Mooney, Ego Nwodim, Chris Redd, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson, Melissa Villaseñor, and Bowen Yang. Che and Jost serve as the series' head writers, with Bryan Tucker serving as senior writer. Not including specials and digital series, the program has won 72 Emmy Awards, the most for any show in television history.
SNL also holds the title for the most nominated television show in Emmy history with 270 nominations (once again, not including specials and digital series). The long-running sketch comedy and musical series is executive produced by Lorne Michaels, produced by Steve Higgins and Erik Kenward, and directed by Don Roy King. Ken Aymong serves as a supervising producer, with Lindsay Shookus, Erin Doyle, and Tom Broecker producing. The series is produced by SNL Studios in association with Universal Television and Broadway Video.
