Journey Into Mystery Annual #1 (1964)

Thor versus Hercules!  That’s really it.  About a third of the entire book is just battle.

What’s remarkable is how much Walt Simonson’s layouts and figures on Thor, twenty years later, look like Kirby’s in this annual.

Very fun issue.
